When processing personal information, we comply with the EU Data Protection Regulation(GDPR) as well as the Danish Personal Data Law which may apply after 25 May 2018.

1. Why is my information needed?

Wisdome products are web based; because of this they may require the use of first and last names, billing contact information, a password and a valid email address as a login.Therefore, at a minimum, we require such necessary information in order to establish your account with us. Wisdome needs this information also to identify and verify that the profile corresponds to a specific living person.

2. What information does Wisdome gather/ track and how is it used?

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Information gathered at www.Wisdome.com is done so on a voluntary basis.We collect personal information from users including (at a minimum) first and last names, an email address to be used as a login, and a password as well as information collected as part of the profileinformation, clubmemberships and club postings and comments on other peoples comments in clubs.When a user registers online for the free version of the service, Wisdome will take steps to verify the email address supplied to us to ensure it is accurate.The premium service requires Wisdome to collect billing contact information and a credit card number which will also be verified to ensure it is accurate.Your email address may be used to send you regular notification emails, weekly emails, periodic product newsletters, offers and usage tips from Wisdome.We use the collected information to deliver services, process payments, update our records, communicate with you about products and services, and generally maintain your accounts with us.Because of our commitment to present the best possible product to all our users, we may track the use of functionalities within the product selected by our individual users as well as all information pertaining to user satisfaction.To ensure the quality of our product, we reserve the right to maintain evaluation and feedback records.

MOBILE APPLICATIONS

When you use our Services, we automatically collect information on the type of device you use, operating system version, and information necessary to configure the application for your device and preferences.We collect geolocation data only if a user elects to provide it in conjunction with the profile information.

SESSION RECORDS

To maintain our quality of service and to assist in the analysis of product performance, we may also gather data on connection information, including the timing and number of sessions within a certain timeframe (per week). The gathered information is used only to ensure the highest quality experience possible when using Wisdome products.

SECURITY INFORMATION

Wisdome also collects certain standard information about your computer for security and identification purposes.This information may include: IP addresses, domain names, access times, cookies and other unique identifying information of machines that uses our service.This information is used for the operation of the service, to identify and protect our customers and to control unauthorized use or abuse of our services.All information is encrypted during transmission and is stored securely within our servers.

SURVEYS

In addition to required member information, we may conduct surveys and ask users to volunteer demographic information to be used on an aggregate basis for internal market research, presentation to advertisers and joint research projects with outside companies involved in product development.We use such information to better focus our product and personalize the scope of services offered to each individual user.

WEB AND MOBILE ANALYTICS

We continuously improve our site and utilize different analytic tools to help us do so, such as cookies and web beacons. We are interested in how visitors use our products, what they like and dislike, and where they have problems. We also use analytic tools on our Apps to help gather non-personally identifiable data about download and application usage. In our use of analytics tools we do collect general geographic data, but it is only on an aggregate basis and not specific to an individual’s exact location. We may use precise geolocation data, but only if you specifically opt-in to collection of such data. These tools may be provided by third parties in order to assist us in collecting the information.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

We do not use Google Analytics.

COOKIES

A cookie is a small data file that certain websites write to your hard drive when you visit them. We use cookies to track user traffic patterns and hold certain registration information. When you register at Wisdome, we use cookies to store unique, randomly assigned user IDs that we generate for administrative purposes. These cookies enable you to enter the Wisdome Site without having to log on each time. We do not store passwords or any Personal Information about you in the cookies. We may also use cookies in partnership with selected marketing companies to help us track the effectiveness of our websites, generate visitor traffic, or as part of a referral program.

Our site may also use local shared objects(LSOs), also known as HTML 5 and Flash cookies. LSOs are used to store preferences for the videos such as volume control. They are not used to back up, recreate, or re-spawn a browser cookie that a user may delete. LSOs are different from browser cookies because of the amount of and type of data stored, as well as the way that data is stored.Cookie management tools provided by your browser will not remove Flash cookies. Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing HTML5 LSOs.

We have no control over the use of third party tracking technologies after they are placed on our Site.The Help section on the menu bar of most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie and how to disable cookies altogether.You can still review the Site if you choose to set your browser to refuse all cookies; however, you must enable cookies in order to establish an account.

TESTIMONIALS

With your consent we will post your “Vita” (your testimonial) along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your Vita, you can do this under “edit profile”.

3. With whom does Wisdome share the information?

Ensuring your privacy is important to us. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties except when you as a user decide to do so, as described below.

Wisdome products and services – including signing in with Facebook or Google – may require us to provide some of your information to third parties to perform functions or provide services on our behalf. Other examples include processing credit card payments, sending postal mail and email, analyzing data, providing marketing or customer support services. They have access to personal information only as needed to perform their functions and may not use it for any other purpose. Further, they must process the personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Also, in the event that Wisdome or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will be one of the transferred assets. For more information on how you will be notified in this instance, see Section 5 below.

Except in the limited instances as stated above, we will never voluntarily share personally identifiable information with any third party without the user’s expressed consent or unless compelled by applicable laws. We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our website.

Wisdome does not control the practices of our affiliates.If you have questions about how affiliates use the information gathered when you link to them, please read their privacy policies or contact them directly.

This website may contain links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by Wisdome. Please be aware that we, Wisdome, are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.

4. How can I review, correct and update my personal information?

If you wish to change, review or delete your personal information, go to your “Edit Profile” page. There you can access or update the personal information and account history we have on file, except your email address that you provided when you created your profile. If you wish to change your email, please write to support@wisdome.com. We use your email address or Google/Facebook to identify and verify you as a person. Therefore the process of changing your email address is not automated at this point. You can also change your email subscription or mobile notice status to receive our newsletter, push notifications, and our email marketing communications including promotions we send to you. Please contact us at contact@wisdome.com if you need assistance in changing, updating or reviewing your information.

To request removal of your personal information from the Wisdome Site, contact us at contact@wisdome.com. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

Wisdome will respond to your request to review the information we have on file for you within 30 days.

Upon request Wisdome will provide you with information about whether we hold, or process on behalf of a third party, any of your personal information. To request this information please, contact us at contact@wisdome.com.

5. Change of this policy?

This privacy policy is subject to change. If we plan to use your personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify you via email prior to the changes taking effect. If Wisdome or any of its assets are acquired by another company we will notify you via email about this transaction and the transfer of your personal information. You will have a choice as to whether or not you consent to the usage of your information in a different manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our website notifying users of the change.

6. How does Wisdome protect my information from loss, misuse or alteration?

Wisdome uses industry-standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of personally identifiable information. Nevertheless, we remind you that no security measure is perfect.Wisdome is not liable for loss of passwords due to user carelessness.If you lose control over your password, you may lose control over your personally identifiable information.If you believe your password has been compromised, we recommend that you immediately write to contact@wisdome.com.

7. What does Wisdome do to “add people to wisdome” information?

We only save the email addresses in the case of an invite to a specific club. These email addresses will only be used for this specific purpose.

8. How long does Wisdome retain data?

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

“The right to be forgotten”: If you want the deletion of your information / your profile from Wisdome you need to write to us at contact@wisdome.com.

9. Data Controller, data processors, Server capacity and logging.

Wisdome uses Digital Ocean as the main server provider, and Jitsi Meeting (owned by 8X8) as providing open source code and server capacity when users operates the video meeting functionality in Wisdome. Both Jitsi and Digital Ocean have servers located in the EU. These servers will be chosen when Wisdome is used within Europe. However, if the video meeting is started in a country/region outside of the EU, Jitsi will choose the nearest server to host the meeting.

Both Jitsi and Digital Ocean do not log or retain any information about the users. Once a video meeting has been terminated, any information about the users will be deleted.

We have standard data processing agreements with both Digital Ocean and 8X8 to ensure the GDPR compliancy.
